Specializing in native and naturalized plantings, ponds and watercourses, stone work and patios.

Korzon Landscapes has been a leader in innovative design and creative landscaping of new and existing homes in Southeastern Michigan for over 32 years.

Mark Korzon, a painter and sketch artist, studied art in college as well as landscape design and horticulture.  He graduated from Michigan State's Landscape and Horticulture program in 1976 and started a career in landscape design.  As an avid outdoorsman, he combined his abilities in art with his love for the out-of-doors to create the perfect blend of artistic, naturalistic landscape designs.

A winner of numerous awards and ribbons, Korzon Landscapes has been a leader in design excellence.  The University of Michigan's Matthaei Botanical Gardens requested Mark to come up with a design idea and landscape the area between the entry of their nature trail and the main building.  Their appraisal of his workmanship:  "Mark Korzon brilliantly transformed this site. His artistic training and profound respect for natural form allowed him to capture the drama of the panoramic view . . ."

Mark's eye for detail ensures that every plant, hardscape, or new construction is carefully positioned to optimize the effect. This hands-on approach is the best way to maintain the intent of the design from the drawing board, to indiviual materials selection and throughout the installation process.
